Our sofas and furniture are designed for normal domestic use. Following these safety guidelines will help ensure safe and long-lasting use of your product.
01 — General Furniture Safety

Do not stand, jump, climb, or place excessive weight on the furniture.
Children should not be permitted to climb or jump on sofas, armrests, backs, or other furniture components.
Keep furniture on a stable surface
Always place your furniture on a flat, stable, and suitable floor surface.
Uneven flooring may cause furniture to become unstable or place additional stress on the frame and components.
Do not use furniture if it rocks excessively, appears unstable, or has become damaged.
Do not exceed recommended weight limits
Never exceed the recommended weight capacity of your furniture.
Excessive or uneven weight may damage the frame, mechanism, legs, or other structural components and may create a risk of injury.
02 — Reclining & Moving Parts
Keep hands and fingers clear
Some sofas and chairs contain moving mechanisms, including reclining functions and adjustable components.
Keep hands, fingers, feet, clothing, toys, and other objects away from moving parts while the mechanism is operating.
Risk of crushing or trapping injuries.
Always check that the surrounding area is clear before operating a reclining or moving mechanism.
Do not allow children to operate mechanisms unsupervised
Children should not operate powered or mechanical reclining systems without appropriate adult supervision.
Never allow children to play with furniture mechanisms.
Do not force a mechanism
Never force a reclining, lifting, or adjustable mechanism if it becomes stuck or does not operate normally.
Stop using the mechanism and contact our support team for assistance.
03 — Electrical Safety
For electrically powered furniture
If your furniture includes powered reclining, USB charging, lighting, or other electrical features, use the supplied electrical components and accessories wherever provided.
Before use, check that:

Do not modify electrical components
Do not cut, alter, extend, repair, or modify electrical cables, plugs, adapters, motors, or other electrical components yourself.
Unauthorised modifications may create a risk of electric shock, fire, or equipment damage.
If a component appears damaged, stop using the affected feature and contact us.
04 — Fire & Heat Safety
Keep furniture away from heat sources
Keep your furniture at a safe distance from:

Open flames

Other sources of intense heat
Do not place candles, heaters, hot appliances, or other heat-producing items directly on or immediately next to upholstered furniture.
Keep flames away from upholstery
Do not expose your sofa or upholstered furniture to open flames.
Never smoke directly on or immediately around upholstered furniture.
Keep cigarettes, candles, lighters, matches, and other ignition sources away from the furniture.
05 — Children & Pets
Supervise young children
Furniture is not designed to be used as climbing equipment or play equipment.
Young children should be supervised around sofas, chairs, reclining furniture, and other furniture containing moving components.
Keep small removable components, packaging materials, plastic bags, and other potential hazards away from young children.
Keep pets away from electrical components
Pets may chew or damage electrical cables and other components.
Regularly check accessible cables for signs of chewing, cuts, fraying, or other damage.
Do not use damaged electrical cables.
06 — Assembly & Installation
Follow the assembly instructions
If your furniture requires assembly, follow the supplied assembly instructions carefully.
Make sure all legs, fixings, brackets, and other components are securely installed before using the furniture.
Do not use furniture if any structural component is missing or incorrectly fitted.
Check fixings periodically
Furniture fixings can loosen over time through normal use.
Periodically check accessible screws, bolts, legs, and other fittings and tighten them where appropriate.
Do not overtighten fixings, as this may damage the furniture.

07 — Moving & Handling Furniture
Take care when moving furniture
